He thinks Mormons are more strange than religions like Jehovah's Witnesses? Come on, at least we let our kids celebrate their birthdays. Oh yeah, and we don't have a problem with blood transfusions.
Mormons are weird, but at least it is a cool kind of weird and not the Kool-Aid type like some out there.
I agree. I just thought it was humorous because there are so many misconceptions about Mormons. While we have our idiosyncracies, I love being Mormon and the gospel makes very much sense to me. Plus, it's always great to have a sense of humor about one's self and one's religion.
As if Bill Maher isn't weird himself...
